Eleanor trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Royal Marsden and the Hospital for Sick Children before completing an aesthetic fellowship in Paris under Dr. Mauricio de Maio. She has been featured in Tatler's Aesthetic Doctors Guide for six consecutive years and lectures internationally on facial harmonisation.

She founded Aether in 2014 to build the clinic she could not find for her own patients — one in which medicine, taste and time are spent generously, and where the answer is sometimes "not yet, and not this." That conservatism is the entire product.

How long does Botox last?

Most Aether clients see full effect at 10–14 days and a gradual return of movement at 14–16 weeks. We deliberately under-dose first appointments so we can refine at a complimentary two-week review — a frozen forehead is a botched forehead.

Is dermal filler permanent?

+

No, and we will never use a permanent filler. Aether uses hyaluronic acid filler exclusively (Juvederm, Restylane, Teosyal) which is fully reversible with hyaluronidase and metabolises naturally over 9–18 months depending on placement.

Will I look natural?

Looking like yourself is the only result we measure. Our house style under-fills, micro-doses, and prioritises support over volume. If you arrive asking for a look that we believe will read as overdone, we will tell you and offer an alternative pathway.

How painful are the treatments?

Botox feels like a brief pinch. Filler is performed with a topical anaesthetic and most products contain lidocaine, so discomfort is minimal. For lips and tear troughs we offer a dental block on request — included, never extra.

What is the downtime?

Botox: none, you can return to a meeting. Filler: occasional pinpoint bruising for 2–5 days, easily covered. Profhilo: small papules for 24 hours. Threads and deep peels: 5–7 days of social downtime — we will plan around your calendar.

What do treatments cost?

Botox starts at £290 (one area), filler from £490 per syringe, Profhilo at £390 per session (course of two recommended), peels from £220, threads from £1,450. Your consultation includes a fully itemised plan — the price you are quoted is the price you pay.

How should I prepare for treatment?

Avoid alcohol, ibuprofen and fish oils for 48 hours before injectable treatments to reduce bruising. Arrive without makeup if possible. We provide a full pre and post-care brief by email when your appointment is confirmed.

Can I combine treatments in one visit?

Often yes — Botox and Profhilo, for example, sit beautifully together. We avoid combining inflammatory treatments (peel + filler) on the same day, and we will sequence anything aggressive across two visits with a 14-day gap to protect the result.
