Sofia trained in dermatologic surgery at Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin and spent eight years on the energy-device research panels at Allergan and Sinclair before opening Lumière in 2021. Her clinical interest is the same one that brought her to London: building a treatment plan that ages with a face rather than freezing a moment of it.

Yes — provided the device and operator are matched to your skin type. Picosure Pro and Cynosure Elite iQ are both cleared for Fitzpatrick I-VI. Sofia will photograph your skin under polarised light and choose wavelengths and pulse durations that avoid post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Around a third of our patients have skin types IV-VI.

It depends on the concern. Pigmentation typically resolves over three to five Picosure visits, six weeks apart. Lower-face tightening with Morpheus8 is normally a course of three. Ultherapy is a single session re-evaluated at twelve months. We never sell packages until your physician has examined the skin in person.

HydraFacial and IPL leave you camera-ready the same evening. Picosure produces a 24-hour flush. Morpheus8 is the most expressive — pinpoint dots and faint warmth that resolve in 48-72 hours. Ultherapy may leave subtle tenderness across the jaw for a week. We schedule social calendars around treatment dates if needed.

Topical lidocaine forty minutes before any energy-device pass is standard. For Morpheus8 and Ultherapy we add Pro-Nox inhaled nitrous if requested — patient-controlled, wears off in three minutes. Most patients describe the experience as warm pressure rather than pain.

HydraFacial and IPL are visible within forty-eight hours. Picosure shows pigment fade by week four. Morpheus8 begins remodelling at week three with peak collagen at twelve. Ultherapy is the slowest — gradual lift across ninety days, final read at six months. We photograph at every stage so the change is documented, not imagined.

A single HydraFacial begins at £290. A typical Morpheus8 course of three sessions sits between £1,800 and £2,400. Ultherapy is a single fee, £2,400 for full face and neck. We provide written cost projections at consultation — there are no hidden product or follow-up charges.

Layering is where outcomes accelerate — but only when sequenced correctly. Sofia commonly pairs Ultherapy at month one with Morpheus8 at months three, four and five, and a Picosure round to finish. Combination protocols are designed in writing and never improvised in chair.

After the initial course, most patients return for a single Morpheus8 or Picosure visit every nine to twelve months. HydraFacial works well as a quarterly rhythm. Maintenance plans are written into your file and we send a discreet reminder a fortnight before the recommended date.
